Hey everyone.

So I HATE that I’m having to do this but I’m just not really sure what else to do at this point. Over the past 12 years I have been getting emotionally and verbally abused. Over the past 4-5 years it has progressively gotten worse and has lead to physical abuse towards my animals, my kids and myself.

A couple months ago my Ex was removed from my house and is facing charges. I have since then gotten a restraining order on him. However, today, he withdrew my paycheck and all money out of the account and closed it, leaving us with nothing. He has not been providing child support and has also left all the bills to me to pay including the vehicle he drives.

I’ve been working with resources to get help for the kids and I but in the meantime we are really struggling to stay afloat. It’s one of those situations where every time I make a step forward, he’s managing to knock me back down.

Asking for help is something that is extremely hard for me and I find embarrassing. But I’m learning through this entire process to try to lean into the support system around me.

The kids and I would truly appreciate any love and support and prayers as we manage to navigate such a big change in our lives. It has taken a toll on us in so many different ways.

We are so thankful for all the love and support you all continue to give us as we try to continue our journey to get on the other side of this. A rainbow and a better life is at the end of this storm!
