We are organising a Charity Walk to raise funds for the construction of the Gurdwara at the birthplace of Baba Kharak Singh Ji of Buddha Dal. The 45 mile walk will take place in January 2025, beginning at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara Peterborough and finishing at Gur Panth Parkash Gurdwara Leicester.
Our mission is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. This Gurdwara will become a place of inspiration and spiritual growth, honoring the legacy of a true warrior of the Panth.
Baba Kharak Singh Ji was a deputy Jathedar of Buddha Dal, known for being a master of Shastar Vidya. They was respected for their strict adherence to maryada, devotion to amritvela and Asa Di Vaar, and their commitment to upholding the Panth’s traditions. During the partition, they also defended villages and protected innocent lives from waves of attackers.
We humbly request your support on this journey. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact. Your generosity will help us achieve our goal and uplift our community, ensuring that the Sangat receives the aid and support it deserves.
Please join us in this mission to serve the community and honor Baba Kharak Singh Ji’s legacy. Together, we can connect and unite the Panth!
