Help My Sister Get On Her Feet

100% of the funds will go to my sister, Gabrielle Wilson.
Hi loved ones. I don't know how else to say it so I will just say it. My sister and I have been living in poverty for our entire lives. The shittiest kind. We were raised by a single mother and we did our best with what we had. I came to Tufts on a scholarship that allowed me to study for free. My sister, 19 years old and 3.5 years younger than me, overcome all the odds to graduate from high school and eventually enroll in an art school in Georgia studying illustration. She was about to finish her sophomore year when our mom died.
Our mom died on August 24th, 2018 from advanced cervical cancer that neither my sister or I knew about. It spread through her body and she ended up dying to a heart attack caused by blood clots in her lungs. It was devastating.
The aftermath of her death has left my sister in a terrible situation. She had to drop out of art school because my mom was the one taking out the loans that made it possible for her to go. Unable to pay for her Atlanta rent without the university assistance, she had to break a lease and, within a month, move in with people she knew near where we grew up in Florida. It was a terrible and borderline abusive situation. On top of everything, 2 years ago my sister was arrested at Target for attempting to steal a t-shirt. She was in jail for TWO nights. Still, to this day, she has to spend every single dollar she could dream of having to pay for plane and bus tickets back to Atlanta for court dates that "cannot" be rescheduled and for which associated fees "cannot" be refunded. The entire situation is nauseating. I am asking for your help, on her behalf, to help her get her life back on track. She is a beautiful person and a beautiful soul who has been dealt the absolute worst hand in life. Right now she is living on the floor out of bags in someone else's space.
The money is to be used for getting my sister and her things from South Florida to the Boston area, putting a deposit down on an apartment, helping with bullshit legal fees, and for food. I'm doing everything I can to help her and I appreciate anything you can give to assist in the situation. Thank you.
