Welcome to our GoFundMe campaign for the ToyBox Project! We're a dedicated team of volunteers on a mission to spread joy and support to children and families across South Wales. Since our inception four years ago, we've been working tirelessly to ensure that every child has access to the wonder and happiness of toys.
The heart of our project lies in providing toy care packages to children in need. For just £5, we can assemble a thoughtful selection of safe and age-appropriate toys, bringing smiles and excitement to countless faces. But our efforts extend beyond mere playthings – in 2023 alone, we provided toys to 7000 children and diverted over 22,000kg of toys from ending up in landfills. Now, in 2024, we're aiming to double these impactful figures.
We work with our partners in healthcare, education, council, charities and community support services, to identify those in need.
We gift toys to:
- Families living in crisis, including those - fleeing domestic violence.
- Schools
- Community groups
- Toy Librarys
- Toy giveaways in areas of deprivation
- Librarys
- Community centres
- Not for profit toddler groups
- Community fun days

However, to continue our vital work, we need your support. The costs associated with running our project, including rent for our toy warehouse, utilities, cleaning materials, and insurance, amount to £2,200 per month. To ensure our sustainability and secure our future, we're fundraising £50,000 to cover two years of operational expenses.
