Emily, Reuben, Ori, Kian, Ruby, Callum, Cerys, Chloe, and Jay Take On Tough Mudder for Maggie’s Nottingham – In Honour of Our Amazing Poppa

On 6th July, we—Emily, Reuben, Ori, Kian, Ruby, Callum, Cerys, Chloe, and Jay—will be taking on the Tough Mudder challenge: crawling through mud, scaling walls, braving ice baths, and pushing ourselves through every brutal obstacle. But we’re not just doing it for the thrill (or the mud!)—we’re doing it for something that’s incredibly close to our hearts.

In June 2024, our wonderful Poppa was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, he’s shown nothing but strength, resilience, and courage—facing everything with a quiet determination that continues to inspire us every single day. He’s been nothing short of amazing and tough—so now it’s our turn to be tough, too.

We’re raising money for Maggie’s Nottingham, a place that has already been a huge source of support for Poppa and our whole family. Maggie’s is a charity that offers free emotional, practical, and social support to people living with cancer, as well as to their families and friends. The centres are calm, welcoming spaces where people can talk, ask questions, find resources, or just sit quietly with a cup of tea. It’s a lifeline when things feel overwhelming—and we’ve seen firsthand how much of a difference it can make.

So we’re doing this for Poppa, and for everyone else who finds themselves walking this path. Every donation will go directly to Maggie’s to help them continue their incredible work—and we’ll be carrying all that love and support with us through every muddy step.
