Hello. My name is Carrie Luther. Ever since our son Tosh passed away from Fentanyl poisoning in October 2015, we have been committed to raising awareness in our community and our nation about this insidious danger to us and to our loved ones.

Unfortunately, fentanyl-related deaths have skyrocketed since then, with 130 fentanyl-related deaths in Santa Cruz County in 2023. The number one cause of death between the ages of 18-45 is fentanyl. Fentanyl is 50-100 times more powerful than both morphine and heroine.

Too many people have died, just like Tosh did, from taking what they thought was an ordinary Xanax, Oxycodone, Percocet, etc. Tosh took ¼ of what he thought was Xanax. We’re talking about kids as young as 12-14 years old. It is senseless and heartbreaking! Victims of fentanyl poisoning don't know that what they are taking isn't what they thought they were taking.

So … we are embarking multiple projects to bring even greater exposure and awareness in our local communities.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are purchasing various collateral to provide greater visibility to this important cause, including banners, billboards, stickers, flyers and posters.

We are looking for companies and individuals who will partner with us and donate toward saving lives in our communities.

Thank you in advance for your support.
