Toronto Charity Care Package

Know·Your·Neighbour (KYN) Project’s goal is to highlight marginalized voices in our city, to raise awareness, and form solidarity. Generally, focusing on race, gender identity, mental health, etc. We are looking to especially focus on race, microaggression, racial violence, etc.

How will we do this? This will be done by collecting and sharing stories from members of marginalized communities through the kynproject.com site, Facebook, Linkedin, and Instagram.

How else will we help? We are also focused on raising $20,000 to be split evenly between four Toronto
based Charities. In no particular order:

1. BLM Toronto
2. Stella's Place
3. FoodShare Toronto
4. Black Legal Action Centre

This project will run for 6 months, and will endeavour to tell over 150 Toronto based stories relating to identity.
