Hello, my name is Lequita, and I’m asking for help after an F3 tornado devastated my home and neighborhood on Friday, May 16, 2025. The storm ripped off my roof, destroyed the back of my house, and left me with nowhere safe to stay.

I’m currently facing this disaster with no insurance—due to ongoing home renovations and a recent divorce—and little support from FEMA. I’ve lost essential belongings, and the damage has made my home unlivable. I’m doing everything I can to begin rebuilding, but my resources are extremely limited.
