Tornado Disaster Relief Fund for Family of Four and 3 Pets

My name is Lisa Bennin and I am from Appleton, WI. We border the town of Fox Crossing which was in the direct path of the tornado that destroyed much of that area, Menasha, and other surrounding areas on Monday July 27th, 2026. I am running this fundraiser for my sister Desiree Morin and her family who lost everything that day.

Desiree, her spouse Kevin, their teenage son, teenage daughter, two dogs, and a cat lost their home when a tornado destroyed their entire apartment building in Menasha, WI, on Monday July 27, 2026. The devastation has left them with nowhere to go, and they are facing an incredibly difficult situation. On top of losing their home, my sister has been unable to work due to an injury and is awaiting surgery, while her spouse is currently unemployed. Their children and pets are also affected, and the family is struggling to find stability and hope in the aftermath of this disaster.

The funds raised through this campaign will help my sister’s family find a new place to live and provide for their immediate needs as they recover. With significantly less income due to workman's compensation being far less than her normal working wage, and no home, my sister's family are in urgent need of support to rebuild their lives, care for their children, and ensure their pets are safe and cared for. Every donation will go directly toward helping them secure housing, cover essential expenses, and start the process of healing and recovery.
