I’m seeking community support on behalf of a Black, trans, and disabled community member who wishes to remain anonymous. They have top surgery coming up in October, and despite months of job searching, have not been able to find employment. The stress of not being able to financially plan for their recovery and other life necessities is causing further health issues. I’m hoping to raise 8k in order to provide ease and care before, during and after their recovery. Gender-affirming care is life-saving; this is something I know firsthand.
