TOOL THEFT MUST END

Hello everyone….. this is aimed at the Tradies really but to be honest anyone capable of empathy will sympathise with this situation.

I’ve just seen watched a video of a gentlemen who’s van stolen a few days ago with all his tools and livelihood in the back. And the reason for his video was to warn us other lads about gap insurance, and the fact he wasn’t informed about it when signing up the finance. Now leaving him to pay the difference between the insurance’s estimated value of the van, and what’s owed to the finance company for the overpriced and over interested finance deal to the tune of 7/8 thousand pounds.

I've never met this man. The reason I feel compelled to help is this. I know a lad currently serving 8 years in prison because after the third time having all his hilti kit stolen about £10,000 worth of tools, the police would not help him immediately even with gps tracker evidence of where his stolen tools had been taken……. So he took it into his own hands went and retrieved his tools and gave the thief a good hiding which resulted in him in jail. I don’t condone what he did at all but when we read stories of this week in week out and even with bulletproof evidence sometimes the police aren’t available to help, it’s no wonder people see red and take the law into their own hands……. I do wonder how many poor souls have thrown themselves from a bridge because of this exact scenario.
