Our sanctuary has received devastating news: our beloved dog, Tooga, who brings joy to our NDIS program participants and greets our volunteers with a wagging tail and warm cuddles, has been diagnosed with an aggressive bone cancer in his leg. Without URGENT and promote surgery, vets have advised Tooga has maybe four weeks ( if that ) left to live. The vet has informed us that the cancer is slowly fracturing/ breaking his leg, making it crucial to remove it as soon as possible to eliminate the tumour and spreading and its source of pain.

Tooga has an incredible personality and is adored by everyone who visits the sanctuary, from NDIS program participants to public tour guests and our dedicated team. He has touched countless hearts, but now Tooga needs our help more than ever. We urgently need your support to fund an emergency amputation to remove the tumor.

The surgery and treatment will cost over $5,000. With numerous medical expenses already, we are struggling financially, and support has diminished as everyone faces their own challenges. We urgently need as much help as possible to save Tooga’s life. Every dollar counts and adds up.

The vets have explained that, despite the daunting prospect of amputation, Tooga will recover quickly and adapt well to life on three legs, as he has been primarily using three legs for some time due to previous injuries. This surgery will not only remove the tumor but also relieve Tooga of the chronic pain he has endured for years .
