Tony & Veronika Family Support

I am reaching out on behalf of Veronika Valdes and her family. Veronika is a dedicated teacher/staff/parent at Key Largo School who has pushed through the hard times to stay strong for her family and students. Unfortunately, her husband, Tony, unexpectedly suffered a stroke and was airlifted to Miami over the holiday break. He spent many weeks in the hospital following to receive proper surgeries and care.

Veronika and her children, AJ and Rosalyn, continue to make frequent trips up to see and support Dad and his road ahead. He spent the last several weeks in a rehabilitation center and has built enough strength to move home with his mom in Miami. He is expected to receive home therapy for a while and doctors suspect up to a year out of work.

As you can imagine, this unexpected turn of events has placed a significant financial strain on the family. Medical bills, rehabilitation expenses, and daily care costs have quickly added up, making it challenging for them.

Ms Valdes is not just a teacher who is always helping others; she's a loving wife who is doing everything she can to support her family during this difficult times and is the last person to ask anyone to help her.
