Tony Fight Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma Lung Cancer

Our father, Tony Scruggs, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma Lung Cancer. This diagnoses came suddenly and has advanced very quickly. He is currently in ICU fighting for his life. This sudden and fast moving illness has left our father unable to work and our mother unable to as well, as she fights along side our dad to regain quality of life. Our father has always been someone to step in and help out everyone he can, and has befriended and inspired so many people along the way. Our father and mother were high school sweethearts and have been married for 46 years. The daunting task of planning and funding end of life care and beyond is overwhelming and taking a toll on my mother both mentally, physically and financially with no income currently coming into the household. We hope that as a community, together, we can help provide some comfort and stability to allow them to spend these last moments together and without fear and worry.
