Tony fight for custody of his baby girl

Hi, I’m Tony’s sister, Tera. Tony has been working so hard to obtain a lawyer so he can see his daughter. He has worked plenty of over time to make this happen and also got a 2 bedroom apartment so he has a room for her when this trial is over with. The initial fee was $5,000….. and over half way burnt through, before the first hearing for temporary custody. This is outrageous but without the lawyer nothing could be done and he’d have to face a life without his daughter. There will be at least 2 more hearings. It’s unfortunate that the baby’s mother is keeping her from Tony as he has the kindest and most giving soul I’ve met. If you know Tony, you know that is true. If anyone is meant to be a dad, it’s him. His daughter would truly benefit from having him in his life and I really want to help ensure that will happen. Unfortunately being a “single” dad is hard, child support is a substantial amount especially when the baby’s mom is (willingly) not working. How this is fair I’m not sure but that is how it goes. It will be hard for him to add in extra hours at work with having visitation. This would however be much more manageable if he didn’t have to pay all the lawyer fees and that’s where WE come in. No one should have to pay this kind of money to fight for a child they have rights to.

UPDATE: First hearing is done and we are awaiting temporary custody results. Hoping for the absolute news to be delivered in the next week or so. His $5,000 is now completely burnt through so we are very thankful for the donations made to support them on this continuing journey. Tony and the rest of the family are really looking forward to having this sweet girl in our lives.
