Fund to Stop Overdevelopment and Mitigate Traffic

Hi friends! A year ago we began raising money for our legal fund to help combat the development that is pending to take place on the Tomoka Oaks Golf course. The developers just submitted another plan to the city on April 28th (to see the submission visit https://www.Ormond each.org/1013/Tomoka-Reserve and click on Tomoka Reserve site plan 4.28.2023.)

The developers have since come back with a revised plan to include 276 homes that will be on 80, 60, 50 foot lots. We believe this is still too much density and the developers ignored many requests from the community such as traffic concerns due to the density.

With that said we Need Your Help!

Our legal fund to mitigate this development is running very low. We have an attorney on retainer, Dennis Bayer, who has been helping us navigate this long process. In order for us to continue paying his fees we need to raise at least $5,000. We have an anonymous contributor who is willing to match the $5,000 bringing our legal defense fund to $10,000.

We appreciate the continued community support as we work to mitigate this unwanted development that will bring more cars to our already congested streets.
