On Wednesday 30th April one of Chipperfield Corinthians current longest serving legends had an unfortunate and traumatic injury whilst playing for the clubs reserve team at Queen Street.
Tommy Smith who has been at the Club for over 18 years, leading the first team as captain in past seasons suffered a bad injury in the closing stages of a game to both of his knees.. leading to tearing both his Patella Tendons leaving him unable to walk for 6 weeks and months to follow that on crutches.
As a self employed electrician Tommy will be unable to work and earn to support his young family and children
Tommy is a guy who has supported Chipperfield Corinthians through the clubs hardest and toughest seasons for all his playing career, and now as a club, supporters, followers, past and previous players Tommy is in need of support from us all...
so please dig deep and Support a Man who has supported Your Club from the moment he could Kick a Ball
Thank You
