Little Tommy Quinn is facing a gruelling battle and he is smashing it so far. Tommy loves Celtic, is mad for them really. I would like to raise some money to make things a bit easier for him and his family. I will be doing a 5k every day in august and September (a month for every year of the wee man). I will be dressed in a Celtic top for all runs/walks. The top will not be washed throughout the months (want it to feel as authentic Celtic as possible )

below is a message from his wonderful and brave mummy.

Hello everyone! Tommy is our very brave 2 year old boy.

Tommy was admitted to the RHSC on the 1st April feeling poorly. Tommy underwent an array of tests, biopsies and imaging during this time.

On the 11th April our world was turned upside down when we were told Tommy has stage 4, high risk neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer that affects 100 kids in the UK each year.

Tommy has since completed the first steps in his lengthy treatment plan, chemotherapy, smashing 8 rounds! Tommy has surgery booked for Monday 29th July to remove what remains of the tumour. After this he has more high dose chemo, stem ce transplant, radiotherapy and immunotherapy. His journey will take around 12-18months.

Our lives has been turned upside down since diagnosis and still find it difficult to believe what our boy goes through on a daily basis.

He has fought like a trooper over the past three months and wee firmly believe he will smash the next steps, one at a time! He has so much strength and resilience and we are in awe of him every single day.
