Tomas get a bike as well as support his family
Donation protected
Hello everyone, I am Tadashi, and I was recently on this volunteer trip when I had an opportunity to meet this wonderful local guide of ours named Tomas. Tomas is from Nicaragua where there isn't many jobs that can support a whole family financially so many sacrifices are made for not only survival but to take care of their loved ones. Tomas and I had the chance to speak one on one and he told me how he works with this volunteer group to not only finally be able to support his parents but himself as well. He told me that he has been needing a dirt bike (motorcycle) so that he can get to work instead of asking people for a ride or even what he does often of walking to work which starts at 8am and he lives 30minutes away walking. When we talked I also asked Tomas if he did have the chance to save money for a bike how long would it take him to save and he said if he didn't have to help his parents it would take 2-3years but recently they had an emergency that caused him to stop saving for a bike and instead help his parents. So that is why I have decided today to help him get enough money to get his dirt bike as well as some extra money that can help him and his family. Anything is appreciated and everything will be sent directly to Tomas once the goal is met or hopefully overachieved! Thank you and have a blessed day!
