Devastatingly, on Sunday 1st September one of our Players, Tom Spooner’s Mom, passed away following a very short battle with cancer.

Claire leaves behind her beloved Sons, Tom and Jack, who in her own words, were her absolute world of whom she was so very proud of. Losing a Mom unexpectedly is unimaginable and something that will never heal and the boys grieve the loss of their mom who they shared many amazing and fun memories with.

Claire was a big part of our warriors family and was the Warriors biggest fan, never missing a game, brightening up the most cold, wet and miserable Sunday’s with her infectious smile and laugh. You could always hear Claire rooting for Tom as-well as the team and she will be greatly missed by Managers, coaches, players and parents alike.

Tom and Jack are being supported by their Dad - Neil, family and family friends to help them navigate their life changing loss and facing future milestones without their Mom.

To aid this support the Warriors family will be taking on challenges and arranging charity events to raise funds in Claires name to support her Children Tom and Jack through this difficult time.
