Right now in the UK, thousands of women and children are going without basic hygiene products—choosing between food and items like shampoo, deodorant, or toothpaste.
Toiletries Amnesty has been working to end hygiene poverty since 2014, and last year alone we provided access to toiletries for over 8 million people.
We don't receive grants or government funding, everything we do is self-funded and community focused. We can make a huge impact, but we need to do that together, with other like-minded people who want to see the world as a better place.
So, we’re taking Toiletries Amnesty on tour with Lu in Luland and her Self Love Squad, and we want you to be part of the action too!

We're Karen and Lu, women on a mission, working to make the world a better place and getting together to do more!
We've already been doing what we can to fund as much of this tour as possible (haven't sold a kidney yet, but there's still time! ) but we really do need your help to make it happen.
If you can spare a couple of quid, it will go a long way - so please donate!
As an example of what we can do to make money go a long way - we took £4000 worth of financial donations and turned it into over £400,000 worth of products delivered to Ukraine. We're good at what we do, but we can't do it without you!

With the help of Lu's bus Susie (named after her magical mum) we'll be taking a tour of the UK, collecting toiletries and beauty products, and supporting communities on the way.
Each stop will help us support at least 6 local organisations in that area, providing them with toiletries and beauty products for people living in hygiene poverty. And, shining a spotlight on the work they do, so they can continue to get support.
Each stop will enable us to provide for approx 15,000 people, mostly women and children. But that's just in that area, at that stop - the knock-on effect of sharing knowledge (and sending everyone home to have a toiletries clear out!) will be much bigger, and will last for years.
Each stop will give us the opportunity to share our story and the stories of the people we support, so that we share with a community of people who understand and want to take action. This ripple effect will help tens more thousands of people who are struggling every day.
No one should be living in hygiene poverty when there is so much excess in the world. We've all got something we can give, and your donating a few pounds will help the lives of so many people from across our communities - womens refuges, homeless shelters, childrens centres, end of life care hospices, refugee services - we support them all.
We need around £12,000 to make our 6-stop tour happen.
All funds raised will go towards transport and fuel for the bus, printed materials, community outreach, and the collection and redistribution of thousands of products.
We’re doing what we can to find the money (down the back of the sofa, scanning the pavement for pennies, eBaying the s*it out of everything!) but we still need your help to raise enough to get on the road and make a real difference.
This tour will bring people together, support organisations working on the frontline, and ensure many thousands of products reach the people who need them most.
Please donate, and join us so that we can deliver an impactful national campaign and create visible, real-world impact together! ❤️
