We are Steve and Amy Lynn OBrien, we are the founders of the Together We Soar foundation. We are building an organization focused on helping children with special needs thrive, with sound housing, educational, and career opportunities to soar to new assisted independence heights.

Imagine your child, now having access to the best opportunities during school [k-12], post high school, and soon life as an adult, expanding their life with the right, perfectly blended assistance, that enables them to thrive on their own, independently, with curated assistance to help them before they fall.

Imagine one day where the burden and the stress are suddenly lifted off of your shoulders as a special needs parent from having to figure out all of this additional 'stuff' out on your own when it comes to raising and parenting a disabled child, and then feeling like a failure when it becomes overwhelming and you fall yourself?

Let us tell you, we know the cycle, and we know exactly what you might be feeling in this moment; fear, anxiety, and stress as it effects you daily. The countless struggles, the many days where you just throw your hands up and scream, "WHY!"

And then you fall into the mental and emotional loop of skipping over the blessings in your frustration, and then to only focusing on the negatives, not solving anything. And then you look at your child like they are the burden in your life and not the blessing, thinking, "I didnt sign up for this!"

Only to realize, yes, you did sign up for this. It is time to get your head back into the game, we have work to do.

AND we have a plan to help you and many, many, many, many, many, many families if you are willing to help us, the law of reciprocity; you must be willing to give that of which you wish to receive, you also must be willing to receive that of which you want to give.

We are looking for parents, people, professionals, pretty much anyone and everyone to help us raise the adequate funds needed to create and build ALL of the tools, resources, and opportunities we have planned and designed for the children and parents of the special needs community to excel and thrive.

With some help from donating directly, or forwarding to anyone you think would be willing to help our mission, because we are fully prepared to deliver 10x value back to our amazing community.

Some questions you might have been contemplating for a little bit of time now as you are watching your child grow, what am I going to be able to do for my child as he/she gets a little bit older and will be graduating high school?

Will they be able to go to college, will they be able to get a job, make friends, have activities to do, what type of community will they have, will they have support to help them so ALL of it doesn't fall directly onto the parents??

What if there was a solution that already accounts for all the needs of support, and ALL of the support that your child needs to thrive?

Our first GoFundMe fundraiser will go towards the creation and setup of our brand new organization called, Together We Soar. We will be creating a platform for running our non-profit, by establishing a working and functioning business inside of the organization that creates revenue alongside of our fundraising efforts to fund our real estate investments specifically designed to enhance every special needs child's life with housing, education, and career opportunities.

The creation of this organization has been in the concept and planning stages for over 5 years now since 2019, and it is now time for the structure of the foundation to start being built on this life changing vision that we have for communities across North Carolina, and eventually across the US.

We are currently in Phase I of our fundraising efforts, launching the organization. We are seeking funds to establish the entirety of the organizations business structure, systems and process, board member and industry professional recruiting, et cetera.

We have designed and curated a very special blend of professionals to be recruited and hired as the board of directors member's of the organization to take part in the day to day operation, growth, and scale of the organization to support our communities direct needs to lead happy and fulfilling lives.

Next will be Phase II of our fundraising efforts, establishing permanent hosting location for all business and fundraising event activities for the organization. Home base for parents and children in our community to have access to the resources we are creating.

Phase III will begin the massive real estate development plans curated for housing, educational centers, and all of the additional buildings necessary to execute our blueprint for building and all-inclusive community to support not only children, but also you as the parent.

I have 10 years of experience in non-profit work serving as a program coach for all of my tenure, plus being a board member, executive board member, and presidential responsibilities for 3 different non-profit organizations over a 10-year period.

Fundraising and non-profit work is the most fun-filling work to be done, and we have a plethora of communities that need our help and support to gain access to better technologies for sustaining better qualities of life for their children.

This is our mission and we are here to accomplish it with your help and support.
