This is Chad-Wayne and Safara- We plan on going to Black River, Jamaica as soon as we possibly can to render aid, and we created this GoFundMe so those who wish to help are able to donate.
Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica with force, causing severe flooding and wind damage across the island — but the impact on Black River, St. Elizabeth has been especially heartbreaking. Homes were torn apart, streets flooded, and many families are now struggling to find shelter, food, and clean water. The people of Black River have lost their roofs, their homes, and the comfort of stability overnight.
In moments like these, unity and compassion become the foundation of recovery. This fundraiser was created to help families in Black River rebuild and recover. Our goal is to provide immediate relief — food, water, clothing, manpower to help clear debris — to help families begin rebuilding their homes and restoring their sense of safety.
When devastation strikes, community becomes our greatest strength, so please join us in giving back to the people of Black River so they can rise again.
Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps restore stability, hope, and love to families who have lost so much. TOGETHER, we CAN help Black River rebuild — and rise again, stronger than ever!
