Zoe Lewis is 1.
Just after her first birthday a couple of weeks ago she felt unwell and has now been diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer called a Wilm’s tumour.
Zoe underwent emergency surgery to remove the tumour and one of her kidneys. She will now start 18 weeks of chemotherapy.
Zoe’s condition has meant a big disruption to life at home. Mum Cassi Garrett has had to give up work to become a fulltime carer and Dad Warrun Lewis has had to take extended time off. After treatment is complete, Zoe will not be able to go back to day care due to being immunocompromised for some time.
To support Zoe we want to help her mum Cassi and dad Warrun by supporting them all financially, we would appreciate help to pay for their rent, food and all the everyday expenses. On top of the extra unseen associated medical costs in the future for Zoe
The whole family have done an amazing job to support Lewis’ so far.
We know a lot of people would love to help but aren’t sure how, and this fund raiser is a way for people to show their support in a way that will really make a difference. We would be so very grateful to do this together and provide a financial break for the three of them while they endure this hardest of times.
