Hi, my name is Daira and I want to tell you about my great friend Kevin Mabus.

Kevin is the type of person that is always eager to provide support to those around him. He is generous and sacrificial, giving without expecting anything in return.

Kevin is the student-shift supervisor for Cat Tran and Western Carolina University, and let me tell you, working for him was an absolute gift. Kevin does not only provide a safe work environment, but also offers his wisdom through a genuine friendship. Kevin has become family to me and many other current and former students that have and had the privilege to spend time with him. From having conversations about music to having conversations about heartbreak and spirituality, he has seen many young adults become great humans because of his advice and patient mentorship.

Kevin has two surgeries coming up very soon, which are very expensive. I would love for our community to come together and help a great man who has given his heart to our Catamount family.
