A very dear friend of mine is in need of help. She would never ask for it herself, so I’m doing this on her behalf—because I know her heart, and I can’t just stand by.
She and her family are some of the most loving, selfless people I know. They’ve fallen on hard times financially, and with a baby on the way—now 34 weeks along—the weight has become almost too much to bear. Her little one isn’t passing the tests he should be, and she’s doing everything she can to make it safely to 37 weeks, giving him the best chance possible. Due to complications, she’s been taken out of work and limited in what she can do physically, which has made it nearly impossible for them to stay ahead. With bills piling up, they’re now facing eviction.
All they need to get caught up and have a bit of breathing room is $4,000. I’ve known this woman for nearly 20 years. She’s the kind of person who would open her home to anyone in need—offering a warm meal, a kind word, and a place to rest. She’s poured love into others without ever expecting anything in return.
She doesn’t have a strong support system, and she would never ask for help—but I’ve prayed for her, and I truly believe God is leading me to do what she can’t: to ask for her. Every dollar given will go directly to her and her family.
If you feel led, please consider donating to help this beautiful family through this difficult season. Even the smallest act of kindness can be the miracle they’ve been praying for. May God bless you for your generosity, your prayers, and your compassion.
