Together Supporting Juan Beat Cancer

As some of you may know, my father Juan is in a fierce battle against cancer. In 2016 he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He endured months of radiation, surgeries and procedures all while working full time and caring for his family. Early last year, after nearly five years cancer-free we received devastating news. The cancer had returned and metastasized to his bones.

In February, we were able to meet with a specialist in Boston who gave us hope where we thought there was none. Juan was immediately put on a treatment plan which will involve traveling to Boston for several appointments.

Juan is facing cancer the same way he faces life—with high spirits and contagious positivity. Despite the incredible physical and emotional toll, he sees every day as an opportunity to live life to its fullest.

Though Juan had saved for unexpected circumstances, he never could have anticipated such a long health crisis and all of its expenses. No one saves for cancer twice! Any donation will help soften the mounting medical bills, travel expenses, and treatments not covered by insurance. Contributions will also go towards creating positive memories and experiences with his family.
