Together in Strength: For a Mother & Her Kids

I’ve humbly created this GoFundMe to serve as a platform for those who wish to assist in providing support to a mourning family who must find a way to live without their Dad in it. He was the backbone of their family.

This weekend, we lost Martin Chavez in a tragic and fatal car accident. Martin left an incredible mark on all of our lives and this is a devastating loss for everyone, but for those who called him ‘Daddy’, this loss is insurmountable.

Kahlanie is the Mother of his youngest children, and she is now forced to tackle the heartbreaking challenge of raising 4 babies by herself. The emotional weight of this tragedy is beyond comprehension, and the road ahead for them will be long and challenging. This pain can never be repaired or fixed, and we can only seek to lessen the blow where we can.

During this incredibly difficult time, I am asking for your help so that we may come together as a family and a community. Let’s help Nani so that she can focus on consoling and supporting her children without the burden of unnecessary financial stress. Nani will have to be the strength and stability for these little ones as they learn how to navigate life without their Dad.

Nani’s love for Martin was steadfast and had no boundaries; Her love for him was unshakeable. Right now, she deserves the space and time to grieve without worrying about the future of their home, the home they worked so hard to achieve.

Any donation will go directly toward helping their little family with the costs of maintaining their household, covering daily living expenses, groceries, utilities, gas etc., helping to provide the stability their family needs until Nani is emotionally able to return to work. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will make a difference and help to offer her and the kids some peace of mind.
