Together for Sean
Donation protected
UPDATE: With heavy hearts, we share that Sean passed away on May 2nd. After a courageous 5 year battle, marked by Sean's trademark positivity and grace, he is now at peace. Throughout his final weeks - thanks to the generosity of this community - he was able to be surrounded by some of his closest friends and family. We are forever grateful for that opportunity and deeply touched by every kind message, donation, and act of kindness sent to Sean, Kristin, Evelyn, and family.
To know Sean was to love him. Whether through his unwavering devotion to Leeds United, his joy in coaching soccer, or his gift for giving the most thoughtful, heartfelt presents, Sean brought passion, warmth, and positivity to everything he did. He lived with intention and loved with his whole heart—reminding all of us to embrace life fully and cherish each other deeply. He touched countless lives with his kindness, humor, and generosity, and we are all better for having known him.
We will keep this GoFundMe open for future donations to help the family with medical costs, supporting Kristin and Evelyn (5 months) during this unfathomable time, and helping to build a foundation for Evelyn’s future—something Sean cared deeply about.
The family is planning memorials in the UK and US; details to be shared at a later date. Thank you again for your support for Sean and family during this time

Friend, father, athlete, and Leeds United’s #1 fan—Sean has been bravely battling melanoma since 2020. After years of fighting with strength and resilience, Sean and his care team have recently made the difficult decision to focus on comfort and quality of life through hospice care.
As Sean enters this chapter, his greatest wish is to be surrounded by the people who love him most. Family and friends are traveling from the UK and beyond to be by his side. We’re raising funds to help cover the costs of temporary housing for his visitors, as well as everyday support like meals, errands, and caregiving needs—so Sean and his loved ones can spend meaningful, uninterrupted time together.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the burden on his family during this incredibly emotional time. Thank you for showing up for Sean the way he has always shown up for others—with loyalty, love, and heart.
UPDATE: We have been overwhelmed and deeply moved by the incredible support this community has shown. What began as an effort to support Sean through his health journey has grown beyond what we ever imagined. Your generosity has made a meaningful difference, and we are so grateful. As Sean’s condition has progressed, our focus now shifts to caring for those he loves most. We are redirecting this fundraiser to support his wife, Kristin, and their young daughter, Evelyn, during this heartbreaking time. Kristin is preparing to take time away from work to be by Sean’s side and to care for their family. The funds raised will go toward:
• Covering the cost of hospice care
• Helping with funeral and memorial expenses
• Supporting Kristin as she takes time off work
• Setting aside funds for Evelyn’s future
Your continued support means the world to them. Whether you’ve donated, shared, or simply sent love and encouragement, thank you for standing with the Collins family.
