Hi , my name is Jamie McCloud and I am speaking on behalf of our family . My family members include my Dad (Pops) Marvel , my Mom Joanne , Brothers Mike and Joey and my Sister Melissa.

I would like you to meet our POPS -the best human you will ever meet!

As many of you may know our Dad (Pops) , has been fighting Leukemia. The type he has is Acute myeloid leukemia. (AML) is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells, characterized by the rapid growth of abnormal cells that build up in the bone marrow and blood and interfere with normal blood cell production. This has been an incredibly challenging time for our family as we navigate his treatment and everything that comes with it. He was diagnosed around the end of September and has two rounds of chemo treatment a month depending on his white blood cell count . If his count is low his immune system will be weak and treatment is discontinued until the white blood cell count comes up . Also if his platelets and hemoglobin counts are low he is required to have a blood transfusion .

On top of treatment and trips to the hospital, our parents are facing unexpected car troubles that make getting him to his appointments even more difficult. Reliable transportation is critical right now and the costs associated with repairs are adding up quickly.

We're reaching out to ask for your support to help manage these financial strains. Any contributions will go directly towards finding a reliable vehicle and any necessary expenses they are facing.

My Family is everything to me . I am lost for words sometimes as I know my family members are as well . I know other people and family's go through hardships and disappointment's that are unnoticed . With a little love and understanding , I feel this can be a positive thing. It can be a small gesture that brings a bright light their way .
