My name is Katie Badar, and I’m organizing this fundraiser to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and their broader work in advancing mental health awareness and support.

Mental health challenges affect millions of individuals and families every year. Building stronger awareness, access to resources, and open conversations around mental health is critical to fostering connection and reducing stigma. When communities come together around this issue, we create space for education, early intervention, and meaningful support.

Through this fundraiser, we contribute to initiatives that promote mental health education, research, advocacy, and prevention efforts. AFSP plays an important role in funding scientific research, educating the public, and advancing policies that strengthen mental health systems nationwide.
