Help Us Bring Christmas Joy to Families in Need

Hello, my name is Kiara Sequeira, and I’m 21 years old. Growing up, my family didn’t always have much. My parents couldn’t provide the “best of the best,” but they gave me something far more important—unconditional love and affection.

Now, as times are becoming harder for many families, I know there are children and parents who are struggling to make ends meet, just as we once did. This holiday season, I want to change that story for as many families as possible.

That’s why I’m starting a Christmas Toy & Food Drive for our Foxwood community. My dream is to create a warm and welcoming holiday experience for families who may not otherwise have the chance to celebrate. What was once missing from my childhood, I now feel blessed to provide for others. I hope this drive becomes a tradition that brings families, friends, and neighbors together year after year.

We are collecting:

New or gently used clothes

New or gently used toys

Canned goods and non-perishable foods

All proceeds will go directly toward making this event possible for the Foxwood community—ensuring families in need receive food, clothing, and toys this Christmas.

Every donation—no matter how small—will help put a smile on a child’s face and bring comfort to families in need this Christmas. Together, we can show that community love is the most powerful gift of all.
