Together for Cinema & Sherpa Aid

I'm attempting to raise £2,000 for two charities that mean a lot for me - Together for Cinema and Sherpa Aid, by climbing Kyajo Ri, a 6000m peak in the Himalayas, with Jagged Globe.
In spring 2014 an ice cliff fell from a hanging glacier on the West Shoulder of Everest; it killed 16 Sherpas climbing the Khumbu Icefall. One of those Sherpas was Pasang Karma who was working for Jagged Globe at the time. Alongside Pasang, 6 other members of the Jagged Globe Sherpa team were injured. Sherpa Aid was initially set up to help the family of Pasang. It now helps other mountain workers injured, ill or unable to work, as well as the families of mountain workers who have sadly died working in the mountains, irrespective of who they were working for.
Together for Cinema installs amazing home cinemas in hospices and respite centres. Thousands of children and young adults with life limiting conditions, plus their families and support workers will benefit from these. Be it a snuggle with Mum watching Frozen, or a cinema night with others watching The Avengers, many will get the opportunity to enjoy the cinema experience, and in the right environment, when otherwise they may not have been able to.
