Alzheimer’s is a cruel disease.
It doesn’t just take memories — it slowly reshapes families, relationships, and futures. It asks loved ones to grieve someone who is still here, again and again, while continuing to show up with patience, tenderness, and strength.
This fundraiser is inspired by my friend Jessica Guthrie.
More than a decade ago, Jessica’s mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Since then, Jessica has been her mom’s primary caregiver — loving her fiercely through every stage of this disease. Alzheimer’s has taken so much from her mom, and from Jessica. And yet, somehow, what remains is still beautiful: the way they show love, find moments of joy, and keep making memories together, even when memory itself feels fragile.
But here’s the truth:
As beautiful as their love is, this disease is not fair.
No family should have to navigate this alone. No caregiver should carry this weight without support. And no one should stop fighting for better treatments, better care, and — one day — a cure.
That’s why we’re raising money to support Alzheimer’s research, caregiver resources, and advocacy. Every dollar raised helps fund:
• Research toward prevention and treatment
• Support services for caregivers
• Education and awareness for families navigating Alzheimer’s
If you’re able, please consider donating.
If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser still makes a difference.
We give in honor of Jessica’s mom — and every one fighting Alzheimer’s.
We give in honor of Jessica — and every caregiver who keeps showings up.
And we give because love deserves better than this disease.
Thank you for helping us remember, support, and fight back.
