Toby Jaramillo, age 78, was born in Belen NM and a long-time resident of Socorro, NM, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2020. Toby was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was well known for his love of music and service to his community.
On December 19, 2019, Toby celebrated with family and friends, Toby’s 50th Annual Christmas Food Drive, serving over 300 families in December and over 60,000 Christmas meals throughout the years.
Toby believed the Food Drive brought the community and families together to celebrate the true meaning of serving others. Giving to others was especially important to Toby and his wife Ermie as they loved seeing the joy it brought to those around them.
To honor Toby, Ermie and their years of service to the Socorro community the family has set up the Toby Jaramillo Share a Meal, Share the Love Go Fund Me.
