Hello my name is Mandy and I have started this GoFund page for a young man and his family, who are extremely dear to my heart. Toby has not been gifted with the easiest of lives living with the debilitating illness of cerebral palsy that has deteriorated his health during his short life. Toby is now 18 years of age and is totally reliant on his family for his medical care, giving his lovely mum, my friend Sarah extremely little time for herself. As a single mum Toby could not wish to have a better mother than the one he has.

I would like to raise funds for both Toby and Sarah to enable Sarah to be able to purchase medical care, assistance and help that would enable both of them to a better and fuller life.

Sarah truly is a one in a million with a golden heart who thinks and puts everyone else above herself and her own needs.

Today I start walking the Portuguese coastal Camino to Santiago from Porto which is 280km or 170 miles. I aim to complete this personal journey for Toby and Sarah within 12 days, posting my journey along the way.
