To transform a social club into our forever hub
Little Heroes is a support group for parents and family of children with a diagnosis of or potential diagnosis of AUTISM. Set up over 11 years ago the independent self funded charity is the extended family many people never knew they had. 4 years ago we moved into our own hub space on London Road, - Little Heroes ASD SUPPORT HUB, 409 London Road, Westcliff on Sea. We made a safe space where people never had to say sorry!
We have now outgrown this ex shop space and have been given the opportunity to expand. A move to what has been known as Trinity Sports and Social Club for many years, will enable development and expansion to be able to accommodate increased numbers. We will also benefit from parking spaces, a teaching kitchen, a safe and fun garden and bigger inside space.
We have a 20 year plan for the new venue and appreciate it will take time and money to ensure the building is exactly what families need. To begin with it needs to be made into a safe and functional space. The landlords are taking on the major costs, however we need to fundraise to be able to provide the details that will make the space work for our families now and for the long term future.
We have already started this fundraising process via our annual charity gala and the start of contributions that we will share as offline donations on this page. Many people are asking how they can donate and so we can visualise the process we have decided to put together this go fund me page.
Every £ will really help and we appreciate your support and considerations.
As we always say “Never Say Never” ❤️
