Warm hearts, but cold hands; eyes full of joy, but empty stomachs, this is how the families in Tigrigra are waiting for our help. We, Lions Club Al Akhawayn, have empathized with these people and have felt their pain, which instantly became ours. It is truly heartbreaking to witness how they are living on top of these huge cold mountains with limited food and clothes that would never be enough to cover half of them. Indeed, it was during our last trip to Tigrigra that we discovered the region with all the suffering that its people endure. At that moment, we were deeply concerned about the circumstances and wanted desperately to help this community out. Therefore, we decided to organize a humanitarian trip to aid the families and improve their lives. This is why we are asking for your support today to fund this action and make real impact in this rural area. The trip will only take two days where we will donate food baskets to 500 families.
