To the teachers & staff who saved our kids...

Hello, my name is Roopa, and I am writing this to every parent who sends their little kids to school and daycare and assumes it's going to be another normal day. Just that it wasn't the case for West Springfield Kindercare, and no staff/parent of that school would have ever imagined anything of this sort could happen where little kids are dropped off by their happy parents.

On March 27th, Violence broke out at the center, and two of the staff got shot and are being treated for their injuries. As a parent, I can't imagine what the staff must have gone through in those moments trying to get all the children to safety. There were more than 70 preschoolers /toddlers who had to be taken care of.

As a community, unfortunately, we have no control over how someone can act out of rage and disrupt harmony; however, we all can definitely do our bit to help the victims in their healing process. There is no big or small contribution here, and every bit will help the teachers /staff recover from this trauma that will unfortunately remain with them for the rest of their lives.
