Supporting our Frogmore Montessori Family

At Frogmore, we think of our parents and children as extended family, and when something comes up, we always try to help in some way.

Unfortunately, we have recently had some very sad news that one of our incredibly brave, strong and resilient children have been diagnosed with a very rare cancer. Only around 80 cases are seen in the UK yearly. Wilms’ tumour most often affects children aged between 3 and 4 years old and often occurs on the kidney. It also responds very well to treatment and chemotherapy, the prognosis at this stage is good.

Our amazing little girl has started her long road to recovery, and we want to support her and her family every step of the way.

The staff at Frogmore will be running / walking/swimming 99 miles from the 21st March to -21st April. This is the exact number of miles door to door from Frogmore to Bristol Children’s Hospital. The children, who are willing, will do 99 laps of the garden to show her that we are with her every step of the way.

We hope that setting up this ‘Go fund me’ page it will ease some of the financial burdens during the expected 10 month treatment time. Any additional money raised will go towards a holiday of a lifetime once this agonising journey is behind them.
