To support my little brothers medical situation

Donation protected
Mini backstory: My little brother Dainton, has been diagnosed with epilepsy since he was young (he’s now 15 year old) he’s got a long medical history of being in and out of hospital, constantly having epileptic fits in school, always asking us ‘why him.’

More recently he’s been seeing an epilepsy doctor who has wrongfully prescribed him a medication dosage which was too high for what he needed. He’s been on this same high dosage since July 2024 so 10 whole months. He’s been non stop exhausted but still went to school, gained a lot of weight that resulted in him wanting to join the gym alongside that it’s affected his heart and caused his pancreas to be super inflamed.

Due to the wrong dosage being prescribed, he’s currently experiencing a very rare side effect of the medication which has resulted in pancreatitis at only 15 years old.
A medical condition which is more common in adults who are 30 years plus+

Upon being blue lighted at Darlington hospital, due to his symptoms they were asking him questions like “has he been in a fight? car crash? or to a farm?”
His symptoms at the time:
•vomiting up black sick (blood in it), can’t eat/drink, blood in his urine, swollen / bloated belly, an inconsistent heart rate, high blood pressure

Darlington Hospital were originally going to up his dosage to try resolve the issue (thank god they didn’t!!) and thankfully since yesterday (19th of May) he’s now been transferred over to Newcastle hospital where he has previously being an inpatient for his epilepsy in the past. The staff there are truly amazing so he’s in good hands for now while he awaits on the next steps.

Updated symptoms:
Severely dehydrated, not getting enough nutrients, inconsistent heart rate, high blood pressure, hooked to a catheter on morphine & paracetamol but still in a lot of pain.

My mum has 4 more kids at home so her and my stepdad are having to swap day / nights with my stepdad to be with my brother but having to travel from Newton Aycliffe to Newcastle hospital by public transport back n forth non stop which is an 1 hour 45 minute journey each way via bus.

Donations will go towards travel costs, helping getting him the right medication/treatment even if it means going private and potentially down the legal route depending on the outcome.

Thankyou in advance if anyone takes the time to read / donate. Any questions or advice feel free to message me please ♥️
