To replace the broken coffee machine in Orsett hospital

☕ Help Us Buy a Coffee Machine for Orsett Hospital ☕
Earlier today, I came across a touching post about a lady undergoing chemotherapy at Orsett Hospital. She was picked up by a hospital driver who transports patients to and from the cancer unit —
After her treatment, the driver waited to take her home but couldn’t even get a coffee while he waited. Why? Because the coffee machine has broken — and sadly, they don’t have the funds to replace it.
Lynn, the woman who shared the post, is going through treatment herself and was simply asking if anyone might have a coffee machine to donate. I don’t know her personally, but I felt moved to help.
So I did some research:
A commercial-grade machine that meets the hospital’s needs costs £1,200 (including VAT & delivery). That’s our goal.
Why This Matters
The coffee machine will be used by nurses, ambulance drivers, volunteers, and other frontline staff who work long, emotionally demanding hours. It’s a small comfort, but one they truly deserve — and currently don’t have.
Many of us have been helped by Orsett Hospital, or know someone who has. The drivers help a lot of people who simply can not get back and forth
Please Donate
Every pound counts — whether it’s £2 or £20, it all brings us closer to the goal. Let’s show the drivers / staff / nurses that their kindness and care doesn’t go unnoticed.
Thank you so much for your support
The cover photo is of Lynn today in the unit ( she sent me this photo to use as we need a photo of the post)
let’s help lynn get the coffee machine
