As many of you will have seen, the plaque commemorating our club’s formation has sadly been vandalised. It’s incredibly disappointing to lose something that holds such meaning for us all, but we are determined not to let this act diminish our history. The Heritage Society is now exploring the creation of a cast plaque, designed to be more durable and secure, protecting it from further damage. The cost for this is £280, with additional expenses for installation, and we would love for supporters to come together to make this possible. In our 130th year, this is a chance to stand together and ensure that our history is preserved for future generations. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help us achieve this goal. As our badge proudly says: “Achieve by Unity.”
