To our favorite cheer coach, Carol Davis (Rushing)

Hi everyone! We are reaching out in a way we wish we didn’t have to. Our aunt, favorite cheer coach, Carol Davis (Rushing) and teammate Martyn Rush (Rushing) tragically lost their son/brother Jake this weekend.

Five years ago, Jake survived brain surgery and was cancer-free without treatment. Unfortunately, the tumor returned last year. Jake has a beautiful wife, 7 month old adorable little boy, and precious 2 year old daughter.

Carol was tremendously influential in all of our lives in so many ways. From cheerwine slushys at Baucom’s, team beach trips, cheer camps, carpooling in the mini van to games, and so many more memories.

We would love to show their family love and support from her “cheerleaders.” If you feel led in any way give a gift, we will to pass it along to Carol, Martyn, Jake’s wife Katherine, and children. Our intentions are to gift them enough funds to go on a special family trip.
