Hi everyone, my beloved grandmother (our Lola Mommy) passed away early this morning. I’m certain she’s been happily reunited with my late-grandfather and late-uncle in heaven.

She is and was the kindest and smartest person I knew. Most of my memories with her are from my early childhood, so her life and love is still alive in the stories my mom passed down to me.

It’s difficult to write this.

Lola Mommy passed while my mom and I were thousands of miles across the land and sea. We saw everything through a phone screen instead of being next to her. I hope our “I love yous” reached her properly.

Although we find comfort in knowing she’s with her loved ones and at peace now, my family and I still have to say goodbye. We humbly ask you all for some monetary assistance to go towards her hospital bills and funeral procedures, as well as travel funds so we fly back home to her this last time. Although the goal is high, any assistance is appreciated at this time. If you aren’t able to at this time, I just ask that you share this so others can.

It’s a lot to ask at this time I understand, so if any request has to be upheld, please hold your loved ones closer n a little tighter.
