To know Lynne Partington is to love her

To know Lynne Partington is to love her. Some may know, but for those who don’t, Lynne has been battling an aggressive cancer. She was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma this past August. Lynne is so strong and to see this cancer defeating her has been heartbreaking for her family and friends. Her husband Gary has been by her side every step of the way through life’s ups and downs, especially through this disease. Lynne is an extremely proud mother of her two daughters Samantha and Tess. One of the greatest joys in her life has been spending time with Tess’ two young children Henry (3) and Natalie (1). Being a grandmother brought a new type of joy and fulfillment into Lynne’s life and I sincerely wish they could have more time together.

Lynne has been an employee of National Grid Electric for 38 years and has made unbreakable bonds throughout that time. She is loved by so many of her coworkers and we have always been able to rely on her. To say she has been an asset to this company is an understatement, her and her close friend Tara Molino are the backbone of the electric meter department.

With sadness in our hearts, it has come time for end-of-life care for Lynne. She is being made comfortable at her home in Bourne, though extremely weak she has not lost her spark.
