Our amazing mum, Wendy was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in August 2022.

Thankfully due to operations and numerous rounds of chemotherapy, they managed to remove the cancer.

Unfortunately due to being lost in the system, therefore not having the regular follow ups that she should have had after being in remission, In October 2024, after having a non-related ENT check-up scan, she was referred back to her doctor where she was told that the cancer had returned this time more agressive and unfortunately it is now in her lungs, kidneys, spleen, liver, stomach lining, and she has been told it is now terminal.

Unfortunately, her only outlook now is to be going through chemotherapy to potentially prolong her life. However, with chemotherapy comes being very poorly and will reduce her capabilities of normal life.

It would be nice for her to be able to reduce work hours but feels like she would not be able to due to money worries.

That is why we as a family have decided to set up a go fund me and ask for any help and support to help her through this difficult time.

Wendy means a lot to our family and the people around her, and we would all be humbly grateful for any support you can give.
