Hello everyone,
I found the spark in my life competing at HYROX, which pushed me to train harder and dedicate myself fully to fitness. But along the way, I suffered an abdominal injury. At first, I thought I could fix it through rest and understanding my body — after all, I’ve spent years studying and helping others eat well, train, and live healthy.
After weeks of searching for answers, I discovered something surprising in my medical records: I had a hernia surgery when I was only 2 years old. It turns out hernias never really heal — and now, 38 years later, mine has returned.
I visited a specialist and confirmed with imaging studies that the old hernia has come back. This news was hard, but I refuse to let it stop me. My passion is helping others discover real health, and I want to continue setting an example for my community and my country.
A close friend encouraged me to share my story here, reminding me that there are good people willing to support others who are trying to make a positive change. That’s why I’m reaching out to you.
I need surgery to repair the hernia and recover properly so I can keep training, keep learning, and keep inspiring others. Your support — whether through a donation or simply sharing my story — will help me get back on my feet and back to helping people achieve their health goals.
Life is about time and effort. I’ll give the effort — but right now, I need help with the time. We are all sparks that light the way for each other.
Thank you for reading my story and for any support you can give
With gratitude,
Hettcliff Valencia
