We are Going Wild in Llangattock Lingoed Team (GWILLT) and our aim is to create a tranquil environment within the village for the whole community.

We want to create a wildlife friendly ecosystem in the Glebe area and the churchyard which can be enjoyed by the whole family. We have installed seating which looks out to the beautiful scenery of the Black mountains and are developing a garden area with wild flowers, native plants and bug friendly hotels.

In addition, we are encouraging the village to recycle and compost through a hot bin system which will produce compost quickly for use by the locals.

We would like to extend the work to include the stocks area - a ruined house, the rental of which historically supported the poor of the local community.

Through your generous contributions, we would like to revamp the area into an ecofriendly system and to encourage all people, especially children to appreciate and enjoy being out in nature.

Our village is lovely, we hope you have enjoyed your visit, including going to our fabulous pub (the Hunters Moon), the historic church and walking the Offa's Dyke Path. We are so lucky to have all of this and are trying to create a thriving community for all!
