Skatepark in Rural Area

Hi!

We, “United by Skateboarding” of the Deludedbrosarthouse are a group of 3 young Namibian skateboarders with an aim to construct a skate park that will serve as a safe recreational facility to both individuals of different age groups in a marginalized community.

We seek to foster lasting improvements in our local community by empowering kids using skateboarding as a pedagogical tool.

Our main aim is to keep children off the streets and offer them an opportunity to use up their free time learning how to skateboard, a sport not so common in African countries especially in rural areas like Namibia.

We would like to build a concrete mega ramp/quarter pipe and a flat ground area with obstacles like grinding boxes and Manie pad to make this possible.
